Who we are
Carolyn Belle brings over 15 years of leadership in developing space markets and shaping strategic growth for innovative satellite companies. With a career spanning startups and established firms, Carolyn has consistently led from the front – launching new product lines, building multimillion-dollar pipelines, and forging industry-first partnerships.
At Astroscale U.S., Carolyn served as Acting Vice President and head of Advanced Systems, where she led strategy, market development, and partnership formation across commercial and government sectors. She built key relationships from the ground up, secured the company’s first U.S. contracts, and helped shape offerings in space sustainability to align with customer needs. While at KSAT she scaled KSATlite, the industry’s first ground-station-as-a-service, to 96% U.S. market share and over $39M in revenue, supporting dozens of newspace start-ups and novel missions in reaching orbit. During her time as a consultant at boutique industry firm Analysis Mason (formerly Northern Sky Research), Carolyn pioneered their practice into new space, on-orbit servicing, and small satellites. Her work combines deep market insight with a collaborative approach to product development, positioning, and customer alignment.
She is an advisor to Colorado’s Advanced Industries Accelerator and sits on the Advisory Board of the Clean Orbit Foundation. She founded CO Women in Space Exploration to build community and strengthen leadership pathways for women in the industry. She holds a Master’s in Space Management and a Bachelor’s in Biochemistry.
Why “Aurica”?
Space is uniquely positioned to bring life together. Space is the one zone of Earth that all humans share equally - there are no borders in space, no exclusive areas of operation. Our team was drawn to the space industry by this very potential, by the opportunity to create a better future for all of Earth through space.
Earth is today divided into seven continents and hundreds of countries. Yet land masses drift - and have a tendency to combine. “Aurica” is just one of the plausible scenarios for the formation of a future supercontinent: the physical manifestation of bringing life together.
